I don't remember if there is a general thread for this, so I hope it's okay that I post this picture here. Just finished this owlbear yesterday and think he turned out okay.

Did a first layer:
Mid tone brown on the body
White and tan on the lighter parts
Dark base

Second Layer:
Dark wash over the body
Light drybrush gray on the base

Third Layer:
Light drybrush on the feather/hair
Beak and eyes/eyebrows, claws detailed

Fourth Layer
Some touchup (dark wash to tone down a couple areas where I went overboard on the highlights.)

Thanks Alman. Though he'd probably just give the bard to an Otyugh. They'll eat anything.
