Your favorite BFRPG Class and why?
Counting the supplements of course. Mine's the Fighter honestly, always has and always will be. However, when I began to make the shift from 5e to OSR/Ruleset Frankesteins I was originally taken aback by the Fighter's simplicity in the BFRPG rulebook, but after a while it grew on me.
I was always a fan of the Champion archetype in 5e and the OSR Fighter being a simple, but effective class that englobes so many concepts pushed all my buttons in the right ways. Even without Combat Specialization, I simply adore the short class description. A picture is worth a thousand words and so is a Fighter.
Thieves are a close second.

I'd say just from the core rules, I plan to make use of the scout, barbarian and druid classes in the future. Though I'd say clerics interest me when it comes to a theme of a divine warrior. I like the appeal of how the class use healing/support spells and not so much for necromancy and illusions. Well i played a cleric from OSE which the most interesting spell to me was sticks to snakes. the fact we were in a botanical dome made it worth using to want to cast.

Fighters.
Don't like it? FIGHT ME! Oh right. You can't, cause you're not a fighter! BOOM! I may be drunk posting! I'm going to the moon!

In Core? Probably Cleric, as long as there is a worthwhile god for him. I like the mix of spells and direct combat.
In Downloads? Probably Druid. Again, mix of spells and combat. Plus the third level spell Animal Shape. Love that one.
In Showcase? Probably the Blood Heritage Sorcerer. I think the author nailed it!

I'm torn between Fighters and Clerics. I still haven't really had too much of a chance to play with the supplemental stuff, but a friend told me he really dug the BFRPG take on Barbarian as a sub-class.

You summed it up perfectly for my favorite as well. Gotta love that simplicity yet ferocity of the Fighter.elmarcotote123 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 3:40 pm Counting the supplements of course.
