Using published random tables in BFRPG suppliment

If I'm putting together a suppliment for BFRPG, and I want to use a (large) random table from another published book I bought, is that lawful due to the suppliment being non-profit? If not can it be forgiven if the table is changed/altered by 50%?

I think you can only copy and redistribute content that's specifically designated as Open Game Content. If not, you'd probably be breaking copyright law.
That's my understanding, but I'm not a lawyer.

Copy of other's work (unless specifically noted as Open Content) is not legal, nor even ethical.

I am sure, one can look at the work then go off and do something that achieves a similar goal without relying on "copying"

Copyright law has many laws/specifics, and laws will vary country to country... but I point back to the ethics. Not Cool to outright copy work.

My understanding is that if both resources are under the Open Game License, you can at least reference the material. I'm not sure if you can copy it. I am also not a lawyer. Why not just build your own table? Be more fun anyway and avoids any drama or issues.

Thanks for the info guys. I will build a table from scratch.
