Potion of Delusion

Core Rules, page 136.
The last sentence in the description of the Potion of Delusion is:
"When imbibed, the drinker will briefly believe he has received the benefits of the "other" potion, but the illusion will be swiftly exposed..."

Is there an actual illusion or is it just flavour text?

An actual illusion affecting the drinker only, dispelled whenever something happens that proves the potion has not worked.
