Hello, all. Forgive me if this question seems stupid or if it has been answered elsewhere.
In the description of the Fireball spell, the core rules state “if the caster attempts to send the bead through a narrow passage, such as through an arrow slit, he or she must roll a missile attack (without range adjustments) to hit the opening ...”
My question is - How is this done ? Does the opening have an Armor Class ?

Re: Fireball Spell Question
It's up to the GM, but I'd suggest starting with AC 11, treating the aperture as hard cover (ranging from -2 to -8) so the AC would be 13, 15, 17, or 19 depending on the size (the smaller the hole, the higher the effective AC). I'd say a slot an inch wide would be AC 19, one three or less inches would be AC 17, seven or less is AC 15, fifteen or less is AC 13. Anything bigger than that should be automatic, as normal.

Thank you, sir. I’ll definitely go with that.
