Anyone got any reccomandations? I'm very comfortable with AutoRELM, but was wondering if anyone else knew of any map makers like it. Perhaps something old school?

For hex maps I've been using Hexographer. The online version is free.
For floorplans and the like I've been using MapTool - also free. I think, at a push, you could use this quite successfully for a lot of dungeon mapping.
If you see the other thread started by Orpheo though, I'm currently seriously tempted by Campaign Cartographer 3, although it's a little pricey.

Don't forget we have an online map maker, MapMatic +2, in the tools section of the main site. It's not perfect, but it works great for me... it's how I do all the maps for the BF series modules.

I was going to reply I use Mapmatic +2 for all my map making needs since I found it. I've also used Dunjinni which is pretty good for dungeon and battle maps and the price isn't bad. For larger scale maps I think Hexographer works pretty good, even the online free version.
The Pro Fantasy is just WAY too much money in my opinion.. unless you've got a couple hundred burning a hole in your pocket..

I like mapmatic +2 as well. I don't map much, but when I do its nice to not have to do anything extra to post it online. Just cut and paste the link.
