Awesome. I just started a game recently myself and both my kids and I are enjoying it immensely! Have fun!!
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

Mine will be 2 of my kids as well as 2 of their friends.

How did it go?
Re: First Game of BF Tomorrow
The game went very well indeed. Zero rules look-ups, I opened the book a couple of times for monster stats, but that was it. One of my players wanted to shoot a guard in the foot with an arrow to pin his foot to the floor and I adjudicated it swiftly and he was successful. The lack of "abilities" and "powers" listed on their character sheets moved their mindsets from, "what defined things can my character do?" to "my character can try anything I want." My daughter enjoyed it too. The game was fun and pacey.
