Hello,
I was thinking about creating something like a Companion App for BF.
For that i would need a Database(preferably SQLite) in which the Rules are stored.
After about an hour, trying to find a way for a python script to parse the contents.xml from the odt file of the Core Rule book in any good way to then write it in a Database, i decided to search the Forums first. Since i couldn't find anything like that with the search i would like to ask if someone here made the effort to create a Database? Or maybe an API i could use or something like that.

Re: Rules Databases
Someone did a SRD website for the system. I remember seeing talk about how they converted it to html (don't remember the details) but the web site is here: BFRPG SRD
Not sure if that helps you any.

Re: Rules Databases
When i searched the Forums, i found that Thread.
If iam not mistaken, he converted the odt to html via libreoffice and modified it. It seems a lot easier to read than the xml file, but the parsing would be nearly as difficult as with the xml file.
