Amazing, no-nonsense moderators.

Well not no nonsense, just no bad nonsense

Solo has always treated nicely to any and all that passes by this forum, plus he let us add BF content with little to no intervention add to that that it shows that BF is a game made with love for the hobby. I think that made that the members here acted in the same way, increasing the niceness here.

I think the reason this place is "so nice" is that this is not a commercial venture and has no need to be better than other games to make a profit. People come here because they like this game and they want to discuss this game. We aren't a jealous group, so we don't mind if you love other games, too. We don't believe in "BFRPG Before All Others". But we do believe if you want to discuss or compare those other games then do that elsewhere. We discuss BFRPG here. And any discussions of other games is mostly about how to incorporate the parts of those games you like into a supplement for BFRPG. No issue wars here is the one hard and fast rule that I feel Solomoriah pushes the hardest.

And the universal "no piracy or porn" rule also is pushed hard also (just mentioning this due to that spat of spammers we had).

There are several in my gaming group (myself included) that stay at a socially acceptable level of behavior BECAUSE of gaming.
