Solo has updated the pages to use https; right now the existing http main page (ie the original URL) doesn't re-direct to https, although the links to the forums, etc. do go to https. In the meantime, I recommend updating your BFRPG bookmark to: https://www.basicfantasy.org/ (also works w/o the "www.")
If you're on Chrome or Firefox, I also recommend installing the HTTPS Everywhere extension! I've used this and have made sure to update any of my bookmarks (though I don't have that many) to use https on those sites that now offer it (which seems to be more common thanks to Let's Encrypt).
Update your Basic Fantasy RPG bookmark!
Re: Update your Basic Fantasy RPG bookmark!
Kudos to whoever set it up with a cert. I always felt a bit naked providing a password over http, even knowing it was unique to the site and extremely complex (thanks to a password manager).

That would be kudos to me, then. We were with Hostgator, and they were not moving very quickly at all to support Let's Encrypt. So I moved everything to Linode.
The main site does not redirect so that links to downloads that may appear elsewhere on the Internet won't be broken (redirection isn't always as smooth as it should be). But I made sure the forum and blog are always https, as is MapMatic and PCMatic.
