What is a good guess on the population of Ravenstone?

Many.

:D

Ravenstone and Slateholm are about the same size, in my opinion anyway, but there's never been a reason I needed to be specific about it. I will say that I envision both as being about the same size as medieval London; in 1300, according to Wikipedia, London had a population of 80,000, but only 15,000 two centuries earlier in 1100.

Trying to figure out the standing army size and other things. As I envision it, Ravenstone has two parts, the Quarters, the shops, docks, warehouses, poor and transients in the old city while the merchants, bankers and nobles in the nicer half, properly guarded.

Besides the standing army and naval forces, complemented by the newly built shipyard, Ravenstone has a force of irregulars and auxiliaries, that are employed to do sensitive assignments, like the French Foreign Legion with a promise of citizenship.
