Combat board accessory

Post Thu Jul 28, 2011 11:09 am

I'm designing my own 'combat board' similar to this -
http://paizo.com/store/byCompany/o/open ... 48btpy8bkr and am wondering if anyone uses something similar and what, if anything, it might be missing and could/should be added.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

Interesting item.

We roll our initiative dice and leave them laying in front of the characters sheets (or by the monster figures for GM-run combatants). If we have a bonus or penalty, we'll roll the die to the correct number, or even sub a larger die to represent the adjusted roll. As each character and/or monster acts, we remove their dice; when all the dice have been picked up, the round is over and we roll again.

Works great if you have enough dice, and believe me, we have enough dice.
