Community Developed Documents

I started a little project to expand options for Magic Items in BFRPG; stuff like expanded Magic Weapon Special Abilities, Special Armor Qualities and of course loads of extra stuff. As I began, I started the project using Google Documents so that I might work on it from multiple locations or computers... and then I thought perhaps I might just open the project up for others to contribute freely, make edits/corrections, and otherwise participate on a truly shared document.

Thoughts?
Is there an easy method to do the same? wiki maybe?
Project Suggestions?

I'm considering a wiki for materials development. If I put one on the site, will anyone use it?

I will put up material via a wiki if you set up one.

Well, one person is good enough.

See how it works for you. I'm not sure I like it, but I'm not knowledgeable about wikis.

I don't have much time on the internet (briefly for one or two days a week at most.) I'll be watching, though...

I think this is a good idea. I won't have time to work on anything until May-ish, but I think the wiki would certainly be useful, especially for larger projects.

Google Docs would have worked as well. Good idea, Smoot.

Literally, edit the page. There's a link for that.

Creating a new page in a PhpWiki is as simple as including a CamelCase word in a post; when you do that, and save the edited post (for instance, the Front Page), the word becomes a link which can be used to create a whole new page having that word as a title.

Follow the OldFrontPage link on the wiki page to find the original directions. They're clearer than mine.

Love PhpWiki. Used to run my whole site with it. Don't have much to contribute yet, but I'll keep it in mind.

So I went to the wiki site and played a little bit. It doesn't look that difficult. It should work pretty good at least for proofing text. I don't know much about formatting on that site but it looks pretty limited.
