are there any writable character sheets for you with online play?
Yes,
Roll20 has a BFRPG sheet if you are playing on that venue.
You can also download the editable version of the character sheet and type things in.
This is probably easiest if you choose one with an odt/ods extension, but could be done with any sheet style.
Edit: Forgot to mention there are also fillable PDFs for the standard sheet.
