Basic Fantasy RPG Forums

Hello,

My name is Eli aka Evil Eli aka Eli the Vile, and I last visited here back in 2013. I am a former member of the Dragonsfoots Forum back in the ole' days of the edition wars.

I am a long time RPG gamer with a fondness for old school style RPGs, but I got love for all kinds of games and editions.

I am currently running an 2 year old Adventurer Conqueror King campaign and I am playing in a Dungeon Crawl Classic campaign. I am currently looking at running a one-shot for my club using BFRPG, hence why I am here.

In addition I help manage and run the table-top RPG gaming at our local fantasy convention, CONjuration, that we hold in November.

Hi everyone! New to these forums and this game. Long time AD&D player. It's been 30+ years since the dice have hit the table and my old crew is looking to ply the depths of dusty tombs and trap filled dungeons once again. I plan on buying them all the rulebook and dusting off the imagination. This game looks fantastic and I can't wait to give it a try.

It's (I think) the easiest way to get folks back into old school fantasy for FREE. Welcome aboard!

Hi all. I've been lurking the forums for roughly a year now. Been enjoying what I see of BFRPG and everybody's posts.

Hi all,

A great game and a great list!
Now that I am starting to play with my 8 year old son,
decided to end my decade of Anonymous lurking...

Been playing since 1978, when I got the Holmes rules as a gift from a
friend that returned from the states. Moved through editions (skipped 4th ,
played with friends and neighbors, introduced nephews and nieces.
Was lucky enough to find the One that is also into all things Geeky
including the RPGs, and gearing up to the best challenge of all -
Introducing my son into the game

I like the, apparent, simplicity of this version and the great spirit of the participants
in this wonderful endeavor.
