Hello, all. I'm a B/X fan who loves that game, but I also like how Basic Fantasy RPG changes things up a bit with ascending AC and some nice alternate rules posted here on the website. And the amazingly low price of the printed books on Amazon sure doesn't hurt.

I have a few of the printed books at the moment (the main rulebook along with the Morgansfort book), and I plan on buying everything in print eventually.

Its good to be here and I'm enjoying browsing these forums. Its quite the nice community you have here.

Hello all,

I'm an old B/X fan who plays mostly Call of Cthulhu nowadays due to availability of interested players and a preference for systems that don't require a spreadsheet consultation every 5 minutes.

I joined because I liked the simplicity of the system and the open standards format of rulebooks, modules, etc.

Thanks for providing this community and the spirit.
