Anybody here use music during sessions of BFRPG or any other RPG? If so what do you use? I've used tabletop audio for longer sessions with a mix of midnight syndicate, and Videogame soundtracks.
Soon I'll be doing a campaign, hopefully at least 6 months long. Based around the players being in a guild. I've decided to use a lot of 16 bit videogame music.
So if ya do, what tunes do ya roll dice to?

Nothing against restarting the conversation because there are new people since this thread, but here are some ideas you can look over while you wait for more posts.

I compose the music that will be included in Revolution Virtual Playspace. All generic fantasy based. I love music during rpg sessions. It really helps set the tone. When it comes down to it, you really need a wide variety of types of songs. As a DM, one's job is to immerse the players, and music really helps 'bring' the players into the story.

There used to be some grooveshark playlists I used, but now grooveshark is dead.
That said, I have my own playlists for standard/Medieval fantasy, western, Asian-influenced fantasy, Fallout, and Star Wars campaigns... need to work a little on other genres/IPs.

I have some film/game soundtracks that work well with BFRPG and other games/genres. I've also backed several of Plate Mail Games' kickstarters for loops/music and now have quite a library to choose from as well. Like with writing, I can't stand to use any music with vocals.
