Re: Core Rules Errata
Well, no more corrections have been posted, so here's the corrected errata file.
The old file has been removed.

Re: Core Rules Errata
The Giant Water Termite and the Sperm Whale monster entries make reference to being Stunned. There is no mechanical description of what Stunned means anywhere in the book. In fact, the word Stun never shows up anywhere else in the book (unless you count "stunt" in the Green Slime entry).
Like most d20 systems I've played, I've treated it as the character drops whats in their hands and can only move or act on their next round, but not both.
Got an official recommendation?

Characters:
Himamura Jin (Night Wizard; Level 6 Great One/Level 1 Caster)
Benjamin d'Aide (BFRPG; level 5 cleric of the virtue of Sacrifice) - recurring hireling turned pseudo-DMPC

Page 98, description of Orc - no individual treasure type listed, only lair type. Actually, this is consistent with Moldvay, but should probably be corrected anyway.
Page 13, vehicles - an explanation of the movement rate in parentheses wouldn't hurt. This had me stumped for a while. I guess it relates to turning distance, as with monsters.

Have you a suggested change?JoeCarr28 wrote:Page 98, description of Orc - no individual treasure type listed, only lair type. Actually, this is consistent with Moldvay, but should probably be corrected anyway.
Probably a redirect to the page about monster stats would cover it.JoeCarr28 wrote:Page 13, vehicles - an explanation of the movement rate in parentheses wouldn't hurt. This had me stumped for a while. I guess it relates to turning distance, as with monsters.
A stunned character can neither move nor take action for the next round. Should probably be in the rules, though.Steveman wrote:The Giant Water Termite and the Sperm Whale monster entries make reference to being Stunned. Well, in the absence of any better guiding principle, I would have thought the same individual treasure as a hobgoblin might be reasonable, so Q,R.Solomoriah wrote:Have you a suggested change?JoeCarr28 wrote:Page 98, description of Orc - no individual treasure type listed, only lair type. Or a reference to the main explanation of the maneuverability rules. If I was to suggest an amendment to page 13 it would be to add, in the 'Movement' paragraph of the 'Notes Regarding Vehicles': "The movement figures in parentheses refer to the vehicle's turning distance (see Maneuverability in Part 5: The Encounter)."Solomoriah wrote:Probably a redirect to the page about monster stats would cover it.JoeCarr28 wrote:Page 13, vehicles - an explanation of the movement rate in parentheses wouldn't hurt. May I suggest that this post gets pinned to the top of the subforum?
Re: Core Rules Errata
I looked into this before, but it seems the Mods don't have the ability to 'sticky' a thread. Probably Solo must do this himself.artikid wrote:May I suggest that this post gets pinned to the top of the subforum?
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Hmm, you should have been able to.
... okay, I've reset the permissions. Why don't you try it now?

It works now. Don't want to abuse this and end up like DF where half the first page is stickies.
