I find the 5 phase (plus yin yang) very interesting and I think it will make a great centerpiece for how magic and the world interact. I like that there is always another ''state" that can be considered dominant to any particular elemental state in a particular situation.

As far as name goes, a simple name will do. It does not need to be poetic or encompassing the 'style' or elements or anything... although if that can be conceived, I would not be against it either. A term taken from one of the many 'Asian' languages that means Earth, World, The Land, etc. would be a good place to start. It will need to be something that works well for westerners to say/hear.

Well, Mr. Smoot, we seem to be at a point where real work will need to be done.

I probably can't do any real work on this until August, but what do you think needs to be done?

1. All the cultural stuff from gear lists to however far you want to go into politics, religion, etc.
2. Quasi-classes for shadow warrior and noble warrior, and maybe gangster (or maybe a new class for gangster?).
3. Whatever you want to mix in from Avatar.
4. ???

I will see if I can sit down for a bit of dedicated writing this week. I work long hours on the weekends, so I must unwind a bit Monday first. But yes, I think some real writing is due...

It's a hodge-podge of Asian (not just East Asia) and other cultures.
