Welcome! The vast majority of us found this BFRPG and, like you, were stupidly happy to find something that is more inline with what we grew up with. Personally I got sick and tired of all the rules that kept getting added with each new addition or "upgrade" to D&D/AD&D. At one point during my gaming (years ago) we had to have cheat sheets that reflected where the pertinent rules were for each darn gaming session... then there were the "rules lawyers" that would grind things to a sudden halt. BFRPG changed all that for me and I'm happy to have it.
