Tree Ant, what do you think? (Since you are currently the main GM)

I'd suggest something like: Friday 6-11 PM Central Time, with the understanding that some people will come late and won't necessarily stay to the end. That at least gives everyone in the continental US a good range of time they can be there.

If non-continental US or people who don't have typical work schedules want to set up an additional meetup, I am fine with that, but I won't be there.

That is the intent of a chat room. optimally you would want it open all the time for people to drop in and chat, but to get it to that point we will need a specific time set-up until it gets rolling. If others find a time that is more conducive to them and others then they set up a specific time for them. It could also be that someone starts a thread here on the forum and says "lets go play a quick game" and then goes into the chatroom and waits to see who shows (if anyone) . All possibilities are open.

I think the main thing is we need to get people past the 'I can't join this because I don't have a good time to meet up' and to just sign up so they can drop in when they have time just to see whats up.

I will try to drop in but probably won't be until after 7pm central or so. School work and family takes up the rest of my time that day.

Ok. I won't be able to drop in this Friday and perhaps the next, but after that I'll try to pop in every so often.

one possibility is to always run a npc with the party so if someone drops in for an hour or so they can just play that NPC until they have to go. Also, probably should keep a handful of pregens (if not use all pregens for the one shots) for people just dropping in.
