Play Testing and Game Scheduling
Re: Play Testing and Game Scheduling
I'll be on vacation this weekend so I most likely won't log in.

Re: Play Testing and Game Scheduling
Barzang now has it's own Roll20 campaign site!
This is a text only game.
A small world map and background files are provided along with appropriate music.
Barzang runs weekly on Fridays as a series of little adventures that hook together that way the number of players can be anywhere from 1 up to around 4. Start time is 10 PM EST. First adventure will be tonight (11JUL14). Late comers need not worry as they can be added in.
The adventures will take place in a city setting and will be heavy on the roleplay with bits of combat as they come into play when necessary.
Here is the pertinent link:

Re: Play Testing and Game Scheduling
I'm slowly coming up with some ideas for an adventure. Perhaps something I can use for playtesting the 3E rules. I could run this either here or on Roll 20; it would be a PbP game, and likely wouldn't have a "live map" available, though I could provide maps/sketches when need be.
I'll need at least a few more days, and as mentioned I would want to only use the 3E rules, so I can make notes of anything needing to be changed or clarified.

If it's going to be a pbp this is probably your best bet. I'd like to join if you'll have me.chiisu81 wrote:I'm slowly coming up with some ideas for an adventure. My game went great last night. It lasted about six hours total, a bit longer than expected, but it ended well. Thanks to everyone who participated. I'll probably do another one in a couple of weeks.

Maybe I'll do one this coming Friday. It will all depend on my schedule.

Re: Play Testing and Game Scheduling
Hi, I'm reposting my game announcement here.
This Friday, I will be continuing my episodic style drop-in games (where the story continues, but it doesn't always follow the same characters). The PCs are part of a rebellion against the nobility, and the game will mostly involve players starting out in a rebel camp hidden away in remote mountains/forests etc. They will face various challenges: having to coexist with other humanoids/monsters found in the less civilized world, making sure the army is sufficiently funded (my excuse to throw in a dungeon crawl), and raiding/fighting in the actual war.
I will have pregens ready, but if you want to be able to keep your character from one session to another then you can roll your own. If you would like to create your own character, I will post character creation instructions in that campaign.
There is no need to commit to the game, I will recruit players out of the BFRPG Group campaign chat on Friday nights. Here is a join link (I will repost this in the chat on Friday): https://app.roll20.net/join/431520/4maS4Q (but you should join ahead of time if you would like to make your own character).
I will meet up in the chat in the BFRPG Group campaign which starts at 11 PM UTC (the listed time) to talk to any potential drop ins. And plan to start the game about 30 minutes later ~11:30 PM UTC.
The game will be text only.
I also don't typically create macros for everything (just character creation). I don't really care for a lot of the advanced features; I just like to use a dice roller, text, and imagination for my games. However, if you prefer macros, you are free to create your own.

Looks like there are going to be at least a couple of games tonight. If you're free drop in for a game.
