I'm sure it could use a playtest. I'm probably going to drop all the banners in the near future, as they don't really mean what they used to mean.

Okay, I'll add them.
If we don't have banners, will you only upload stuff once it's been fully play tested?

No. Items that are fundamentally complete, high quality, and "look good" get to be on the downloads page. Playtesting is not a requirement to get there, it just has to be top-notch stuff.
Now, getting into print is another matter entirely.

Okay everybody. Assuming Solo doesn't disagree, I think that this thread can be used to talk about setting up and running play tests, and then discussing the results. Sounds good?
(Solo, just tell me if you don't want this, and I'll delete this post)

Ok, Solo says it's a go.
So, let's start scheduling play tests.

This is what I posted in the Play Test Club thread I tried to start a while back. I think it would be better to just pick one or two nights a week (or days since forum members are in a lot of different time zones) and a set period of time. Do this instead of trying to schedule what different night every week or set up a particular game. What I don't need is another game to join where I am obligated to show up every week. I had enough people show interest to start a PBP, but not enough to start a handout where you don't know who might be there a particular night.
********
We have quite a few active members now. We also have quite a few adventures on the Downloads and Showcase pages that are still shown as Playtest Editions. Many of them are way to big to be tackled in a couple nights, but there are some, especially the Adventure Anthologies, that can be completed in a short time.
I propose that we start a Fight Club, errr, I mean, Playtest Club, that meets at least one night a week on Roll20 to start running through these modules and get the playtest tags off some of them. This wouldn't necessarily be an organized and continuous campaign where XP is kept and treasure is hoarded. In fact, we wouldn't want to do that because one week might be a module for levels 4-6 and the next a beginner module. We could also playtest some of the supplements as well.
This wouldn't be a set number of players who kept the same PCs. In fact, I would suggest that whoever was going to GM that nights game (most likely whoever wrote it) would bring some pregen PCs to pass out to whoever shows up to play. I envision a sort of open house format like a pick up basketball game. I know when I used to hang out at Dragonsfoot, you could usually get into a pickup game just about any night.

Cool. I like this idea. What night's do you think would be best?
I would personally go with Friday and Saturday nights as the weekly club nights.
