I just let someone do a mini session in an alternate dimension as a off soot of my morgansfort campaign. Anyway it was a super massive large underground cavern filled with hoards of undead, repeating balistas and a massive undead dragon turtle which we killed with said balistas. All at level 1  .

This sounds like a dungeon one of my players once created a number of years ago. I still remember this line:

(My player, GMing at the time)

"Okay guys, you see 10,000 orcs rushing out of the mountain gate towards you. What do you do?"

We were only 7th and 8th level at the time. That player hasn't GMed since.

I was thinking back to another ridiculous thing my players did. This was with a different group than the one I game with currently. Here it is:

My players had reached companion level (we were playing BECMI D&D). They were mainly lawful, with one or two neutral people. They decide that they want to become legends in the campaign world. So they attacked a city. Singlehandedly. They used magic items and spells to create a small army of monsters to aid them. They lost (and died), due to the fact that there were two master-level clerics living in the city.

My players knew about the clerics. I had just told them about the clerics earlier in the same gaming session. I still can't understand why they did what they did. The campaign we were running had been going on for long time. The only thing I can guess is that my players were bored.

Running a Chivalry and Sorcery campaign. The group were investigating a mystery in a border town. They had followed a trail of clues that suggested a young stable-hand would have the next piece of information.

They waiting until he was in the stable, then cornered him and threatened him with same sex acts of sexual aggression unless he gave them information.

This act led to them being arrested, only a couple were still at large, so the two free set fire to the town as a diversion to help free the rest.

In a Star Wars campaign, they decided to be slave traders

I decided that no way in hell was I going to run an "In Nomine" campaign

This happened before the game started even... one of the players really wanted to play a ranger, the GM let him roll using one of the unearthed arcana methods (the one where you roll a lot of dice for each att), he did it like 4 times and never got the minimum reqs, so he rolled using other method a couple of times, no luck, then another and another method, after that the GM said, "screw it, put the minimum on the req atts and lets play...."

One of the stories I wrote above was when I played In Nomine Satanis/Magna Veritas (the spanish/original version) lots of weird things happened there...

This makes me wonder. Should I start another thread to discuss the strangest things that have ever happened in your games?
