At the risk of once more being called out for saying a measure of success is more than just whether or not bryce0lynch likes something, I will point out that Nameless Dungeon, on top of being run many times by DMs who chose it over a near endless stable of other free and pay modules, it also succeeds in helping a near blindman continue playing. But alas, since bryce0lynch isn't near blind that isn't a standard that means anything.Solomoriah wrote: In other words... I did a favor for a blind man, and you hated it. Just to be clear.

I would like to point out that myself and my players enjoyed going through this dungeon. I've used it multiple times, over the course of several campaigns, and it usually worked well. It's also very easy to adapt this dungeon to your particular style of play, which is what I've done several times.

I agree. For the sake of my sanity, and not as an indictment of anyone in particular, I'm locking this.

Good. I was debating doing this except for the fact that you were addressing the topic yourself.Solomoriah wrote:I agree. For the sake of my sanity, and not as an indictment of anyone in particular, I'm locking this.
For the record, I don't think anyone should be excessively caustic towards someone that reviews material. I generally never agree with the elitist opinions of movie reviewers either, but they often do bring up points to consider. My biggest issue with this particular topic was the language usage and not the points he made... because I do understand that it is just a particular point of view or opinion and not really representative of the general consensus. I don't agree with all the points (most in fact), but I am open enough to hear out those points or even discuss them... so long as it is done in a mature manner (and no, not speaking of the mature language... I consider that as really juvenile).
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?
