Jinjer is an excellent band. I remember the first time I heard the live session version of "Pisces." I was utterly blown away by the contrasting dynamics and how smooth the transitions between them were.

Also, I've been rewatching a lot of X-Files lately, and I have to say, the first couple of seasons hold up surprisingly well. A true classic in my mind.

Yep, I have the first 4 (or 5) seasons on DVD/Plex, they're fun to re-watch!

Been listening to the "New Retro Wave" Youtube channel a lot while I prep for a White Star mini campaign. It's very evocative. Also on Youtube I enjoy the channel "Townsends", which promotes 19th century re-enactment and cooking. Also "Primitive Technology" which is a guy seeing how far he can progress into the stone age tech tree by himself. It's more interesting than it sounds. Be sure to use the subtitles for that one, though. He explains what he's doing there, as he doesn't speak at all in the videos.

Also, listening to: “Hey Man, Nice Shot” by Filter. A nice slice of 90s vice. Okay, not exactly, but the assonance was too tempting to pass up.

If you want a song with a hard-hitting bass line, this is a good choice.

It def grew on me. There were certain characters that hogged screentime and I got tired of (some I got realllly tired and annoyed with), while others I really wanted to learn more about (namely Ben), and hopefully season 2 will do just that.
