What are you listening to/watching/reading?

Post by -1warrior »

As the name implies, this is a combination of three types of threads I've seen in other forums. Basically just occasionally talk about what music you're listening to, or watching, or reading. Bonus points for doing all three at the same time. ;)

I'm listening to: Triumph-Lay It On the Line

I'm Reading: Luthien's Gamble by R.A. Salvatore

Never read any manga myself. Is it enjoyable to read?

As with any comics it depends on what you like, Basilisk is a cross between Romeo and Juliet with the legend of Iga and Kuga ninja groups with mature content (blood and nudity).
Some mangas I enjoyed:
Hokuto no Ken (fist of the north star)
Sasan Eyes (3x3 eyes)
Record of the Lodoss War: This one is based on some audio records from a JRPG which originated from playing D&D and has a couple of animes.
Saint Seiya is another favorite mine.

Thanks for explaining. Don't think I'll be reading any manga anytime soon though (I just don't care for illustrated stories).

Listening: Pandora station: "Spooky Symphonies" (mostly movie soundtracks or classical stuff that is not of the fun/whimsical sort) stuff like theme from Cape Fear, LotR movie soundtracks, Harry Potter theme music, Wagner (Ride of the Valkyries), etc.

watching movie with son: King Kong (recent Jack Black one). Also seem to be watching the Clone Wars episodes (on 2nd season via Netflix)

Reading: book about healthy diet stuff with focus on low-glycemic foods "Healthy for Life" by Ray D. Strand MD
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Awesome. A man after my own heart. I'm a total '80s metalhead as well.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.
