I respect that stance. It's definitely hard to do the legacy of Queen justice, regardless of the effort put in.
I'll check that cover out. I'm always in the mood to hear new renditions of songs I enjoy.
Also, I'm currently listening to: "Birdland" by Weather Report. As far as I'm concerned, it's hard to go wrong with a little bit of classic jazz fusion to wind down the evening.

I am a huge fan of Rami due to Mr. Robot, but I tend to skip Hollywood movies based on bands, etc. I just stick to listening to the albums themselves.
Listening: Magic Dance - New Eyes
Reading: Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders, Michael Crichton - Jurassic Park
Testing: Ubuntu 18.10, Linux Mint 19.1 Beta

Listening to: "First Snow" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I'm not a huge fan of a lot of Christmas music, but TSO is a staple of the season for me.

"Little Big" by John Crowley. At the oneset, this is a long, slow book. But it is more like wine that Gatorade, you have to sip it and savor it. I hate to close it at night when I really should be getting to sleep.
I think what I like most is that I don't feel safe reading it. It's not like a media tie-in novel where you know nothing is going to happen to the main characters and all will wrap up tidily in the end.
Not sure how many elements could be translated into an RPG like Basic Fantasy, though there is some stuff with Faeries, a sandman, and later on a magic user. Have to give it more thought.

Re: What are you listening to/watching/reading?
Listening: Phone ringing repeatedly, as we have had office staff implosion where I work, and I will be going absolutely insane soon.
Watching: my blood-pressure go up and up as my patience lapses... soon to be watching padded walls.
Just needed a short rant about my day so far.... you may all go about your day now.

Listen to Maynard Ferguson's version too. When he's playing his trumpet, there's no where else to be.Sir Daggerford wrote: ↑Thu Dec 06, 2018 2:56 amI respect that stance. It's definitely hard to do the legacy of Queen justice, regardless of the effort put in.

Unless you are playing BFRPG, of course.
