So Smoot what are the chances I can get some of these into the Monster book?

I have not had the opportunity to work on the Field Guide in quite some time.MedievalMan wrote:So Smoot what are the chances I can get some of these into the Monster book?
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Hey Smoot and contributors, what do you guys think of compiling these monsters in their own "fiend folio" style book separate from the field guide?

I'm in favor, with the FG actual status it could be ok to start another monster's book, specially if includes BFRPG original monsters

Yes, The BFRPG monster manual. it could be a great accompaniment to the core rules.

Um... that's what the Field Guide is.SerGavin wrote:Yes, The BFRPG monster manual. it could be a great accompaniment to the core rules.
I do not plan to put into print any book duplicating the monsters from the Core Rules, if that's what you're asking. I don't want any material duplicated, because if it is, the duplicates have to be maintained concurrently, and that's a nightmare.

We can go with a FG 2 or with something different... Actually, the FG is called: The Field Guide of Creatures Malevolent and Benign... we can go with The Field Guide of... nightmarish creatures, abominations and other things if we want something more thematic instead of having the field guide 1, 2, 3 or the field guide, monsters guide, creature guide, the book of monsters, yadda yadda...

I like that. Each one could have different title.
