S'awright, no problem.

The traditional sequence for the classic games goes like this:

Tiny < Small < Normal < Large < Huge < Giant < Gigantic

We only say "Gigantic" if there is already a Giant version and we need one EVEN BIGGER... :D

Not all the size categories are found in the same monster type, naturally.

I noticed on the Facebook page that Solo has put the softcover back on sale on DTRPG. So at his convenience both the Buy the Rules page as well as the Downloads page will need to be updated to have that link re-added.

If it has fewer problems than last time it was on DTRPG, I would hope the new print release of the Field Guide will also make its way back onto DTRPG.

Slowly. DTRPG takes time, and the cover fixes are annoying.

In the description for the Deinonychus on page 66:
"... is a medium-sized feathered dinosaur weighting approximately ..."
Should be:
"... is a medium-sized feathered dinosaur weighing approximately ..."
ctrl-f shows this is the only instance of this typo

Also I noticed:
"...reaching about 11 feet of length (tail included)..."
This feels odd to me. I would usually say in length, but maybe that's just me. It makes me think that length is a physical object in this sentence.

Edit: This is actually an inconsistency, and the only use of "of length" in the book.

Found another inconsistency in the Bugbear description:

"Bugbears receive a +1 bonus on damage due to their great Strength."

Every other instance is "... bonus to damage due to strength."

I apologize for writing these in different posts. I'm going through FG 2, and looking at wording in the core rules, so I'm just coming across these occasionally.

A few more inconsistencies:

In the Ghast description: “immune to sleep, charm, and hold magics.”

“sleep”, “charm”, and “hold” need to be bold.

In the Skeleton description: “... they can be Turned by a Cleric...”

“Turned” should not be bold.

The word “undead” does not appear at all in the Ghost description, nor does it say that they can be turned, or that they are immune to sleep, hold, and charm magic.

Similarly the descriptions for the Mummy, and Vampire do not mention that they may be Turned by Clerics.

Also it seems there are inconsistencies with whether the word “undead” is bold or not. If “undead” appears in the first paragraph of a description, then it will be bold for the first use only. This is true of all undead creatures, as well as shadows, but not for bone golems. If “undead” does not appear in the first paragraph of a description, then it will not be bold, regardless whether it is used in subsequent paragraphs.

I'd started the core rules book into Catalan and while I was reading the Human description I'd noticed it reads "An average Human male in good health stands around six feet tall and weighs about 175 pounds. Most Humans live around 75 years". I believe it would be better make this genderless or add females too.

At Charm Monster it reads "This spell can affect 3d6 hit dice of creatures of 3 or fewer hit dice, or one creature of more than 3 hit dice."

I believe that this hit dice here makes no sense. Is this a known errata?

At Confusion spell it says Range: 360' I believe it would be more appropriate 360º.

It makes senses to me. Perhaps you are just misinterpreting this.

Charm Monster will affect 3d6 levels or hit dice of creatures, so long as creatures have 3 or fewer levels or hit dice (individually). It will only affect one creature, if that creature has 3 or more levels or hit dice.

So as an example. 3d6 rolled yields "10", so against Orcs (1 hd) it would affect 10 such creatures. Against an enemy party of second level foes, it would affect 5 of them. Against a couple of Ogres (more than 3 HD), only one would succumb.

On Confusion (or most all spells), Range is distance, and not meant as a description of the area of effect (such as the degrees of a circle). Any complicated ranges or area of effect would be clarified in the spell description.

Thanks, now I'd understood it.

In the Confusion spell description the last sentence is the following:
Any confused character who is attacked automatically retaliates on its next turn, as long as it is still confused when its turn comes.
Does the referred 'turn' actually mean 'a combat round' ?
