Actually, I just gave the Dryad #At 1, Dam 1d4 instead. I see no reason whatsoever that the Dryad should not be able to do at least a little damage.
An aside... has anyone ever actually used a Dryad in an adventure?

Yes, but not specifically in BFRPG. I actually used a dryad during a shipboard encounter/scenario where the players were on a ship wherein strange events were occurring, objects moving, eerie noises, etc. The idea was to get them thinking haunted/ghost thing, only to find out that the ship had recently replaced their main mast... which happened to be from the dryad; driven insane and murderous as she was dying.
Rather non-standard dryad, I took liberties with abilities, 1E variety if I remember the time period correctly.
It was fun.

First, I've got to say that having a dryad on the ship is an awesome twist. And when the LL and B/X rules were brought up I just happened to have a 1E MM next to me. 1d4 dmg in a fight, but a very beefed up charm person ability (-3 to save) and if an angry dryad charms you and takes you away, there is a 50% that you never return. And if you do, not until 1-4 years after. Would definitley make me think twice about messing with her tree, and it just feels very fey.

Just uploaded R102, changed as noted above.

pg.53
Poison saving throws are always adjusted by the
Constitution bonus of the character.
• Saving throws against illusions (such as
phantasmal force) are always adjusted by the
character's Intelligence.
• Saving throws against charm spells (and other
forms of mind control) are adjusted by the
character's Wisdom.
Adding the word "BONUS" to the illusion and charm descriptions would probably add a bit of clarity and consistency.

I'm still gun-shy about merging posts/threads, so I'm quoting instead.

I see the point. However, I'm not sure it's worth the effort to reflow the document again just for that. If no errors of any other sort are found in R102, it will fly as is.
EDIT: I merged the topics for you, Chi.
Greymark: Please make all suggestions for improving the Core Rules in this thread. Thanks!

If we go with that change how about using "modifier" instead of "bonus"? Bonus is positive while the saving throws are modified positively and negatively.

That does make sense.
Sorry for posting wrong place!

I have a few things I've found as I'm reading through the book with an editor's eye.
Should I post them in this thread or start another?
