Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
Okay, regarding the type of attack... there are monsters which are intentionally not explained. Gelatinous Cubes, Efreeti, and so on are left to the imagination of the GM to describe. Perhaps this isn't ideal in a "basic" game, but it is intentional. I am filling in some that were apparently left out inadvertently.

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
Uploading R93 now. I did something I told myself not to do... changed the flow of the Encounter section a bit. By adding a pic from Brian Thomas, I moved the Combat header to the top of the page; this pushed everything down, reflowing the encounter section right to the end of the Saving Throw page. I think it all looks a lot better, but now I need someone to check the alphabetical index and table of contents.
Any takers?

Table of Contents: maybe move Attack Bonus Table listing above How to Attack?
Checking index, but def. need more eyes on that to double-check

I'll try to make some time to go through the index and TOC.
I'm excited about this book. I've already given away one of my copies of the 2nd editon.

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
If Chi's note above is the only errata, I'm not updating the release to fix it. It doesn't hurt anything, and making a new release is a 1-2 hour ordeal for me.

Table Of Contents. Some of these may not be errors but on purpose. Just trying to help.
1.
TOC gives races in singular: Dwarf and Elf, Halfling and Human
While the actual pages about it they are pluralized: Dwarves, Elves; Halflings, Humans
----------------------
2.
These are not in the Table of Contents even though they are main headings. (some of these I can understand why they would be like that, just wanted to throw it out there.)
Theif Abilities 9
Weapons 11
Armor and Sheilds 11
Beasts of Burden 11
Land Transportation 13
Water Transportation 13
Notes Regarding Vehicles 13
Retainers 39
Specialists 40
Mercenaries 41
Saving Throws by Class Table 53
Dungeon Encounters 144
Wilderness Encounters 145
City, Town or Village Encounters 146
General Rules for Research 157
Spell Research 157
Magic Item Research 157
----------------------
Everthing else on TOC looks good.
I'll do a run through of the Index when I can.

Throughout the book Doppelganger is spelled Doppleganger.
Not sure if that is intentional and just a less common spelling.
The SRD spells it Doppelganger if that makes a difference.
