Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 4th Edition
Re: R108 Final Task List
Found more! It's not a joy AlMan, but the book will look great in the end.
Almost finished with Spells now.

Yes, the boxes are supposed to be there. Solo is waiting for a couple of art pieces to be turned in and the boxes are places holders for the future art.
Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules
Is anyone already working on art for "eagle" or "falcon" monsters?

No. They are both yours if you want them. More or less "square" pieces would be best. Thanks!

Yeah, Al steered you right. I add gray boxes sometimes when I need to give the artist a size, and I leave them in place as flow control until the art arrives. Bruce Ripple is doing art for those spaces, I think (or maybe he's done it already, I've lost track).

The paragraph mentioned also has prices for the screw and sow.Solomoriah wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 10:40 pm
Al Vetter's Notes
Page 187 (183) – Stronghold – Paragraph 4
Mentions a screw and sow to use as a siege weapon. Should both of these be included in the actual Siege Engine section.
Yes, these should be added. No idea how to value them though.
On the Siege Engine table it would probably look like:Basic Fantasy Core Rules 4th Ed R 108 Page 190 wrote: Finally, a screw may be used to attack a stronghold. This device, which costs 200 gp, is used to bore through castle walls. A crew of at least eight is required to operate it. It is only used at the base of a wall, and it is usually operated under a sow, or portable roof, as it is slow. (A sow typically costs about 100 gp.) The device does 1d8 points of damage per turn, but it ignores hardness.
Screw 200gp N/A N/A 1d8 N/A N/A N/A
Sow 100gp N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A
(The above will need to be spaced correctly for the table.)

That's what I get for answering without reading the passage.
