Here's r6. A little more layout hammering, a few style corrections, and inserted references for table of contents.
Release 7 reintroduces the 5'/10'/5' (or 1 square / 2 squares / 1 square) rules for diagonal movement. From comments earlier in this topic, this seems to be peoples' preferred approach.
I've also done a fair amount of further tidying-up of the layout following the migration from MS Office to LibreOffice.
