That is about how I felt about it... but it also means redoing the index (and all those hyperlinks again). Not really so hard, just a little time consuming as each link must be done one at a time.
So be it.

Re: Spells Needed
You are correct. BFRPG does not use "memorized" but rather "prepared" spells. I went back and modified the wording to use proper terms. A minor thing, but consistency matters!Joe the Rat wrote:Also, Dark Lightning makes reference to memorized spells. That one will be a tricky tweak.
FYI, that spell is one of the more interesting creations. I really like it. Powerful, but it is 4th level and likely only affects the targets first level spell allotment (and perhaps a second level spell or two if the target has been using up their 1st level spells).

Re: Spells Needed
There aren't a huge number of creatures with spell-like abilities, but I'm wondering if some suggestion for similar effects wouldn't be amiss. But that's probably a case-by-case decision.
A handy spell for hunting dragons, though.

Re: Spells Needed
Hmmm. I see what you mean. For low level abilities (lets say about congruent to 1st level spells), then the creature loses the ability to use that power 1 time for each so drained, so if usable 3/day, that would likely drain completely. If a power is usable at will or every round, I would say that the power is nullified for caster's level number of rounds. Lowest level powers are still the first affected (before higher level powers).
Is that about the right idea.

Re: Spells Needed
at-will before x/day before 1/day... yeah, something like that. You just have to figure out what qualifies - excluding things inherent to the creature (a Shadow's drain), and what is too potent to be affected (dragon breath, genie wish-granting).
Though again, I'd just note it and let GMs split the hairs as it comes up.

Re: Spells Needed
a new round of re-formatting is underway. I took a moment to compare how the spells located in the core rules are formatted. Aside from a couple of intentional tweaks, I noticed that Solo used a smaller font in the core rules that was not utilized in the bulk of the Supplements. Core rules uses Soutane 9.5 for the bulk of text bodies, Soutane 9 within tables (at least the ones in the spells section), while it seems most other supplements have used Soutane 10.
So in order to match more closely, with the side effect of trimming down the document length, I have started to swap such font sizes in this document. Still looks great.
I also took the step to remove references to Fey Mage and Priests... two sub-classes that I utilize in my games, but really just are not necessary in this project. For one Priests use the Cleric Spell List with just a few extras sprinkled in from other classes such as MU, Druid, etc. Fey Mage is my own alternate (and really is better) version of Sorcerers, catered specifically to be style of magic use that fey beings utilize (or others as well, but fey/elf form the roots). That said, their spell list is drawn from the others with very few unique spells of their own. Either or both alternate classes (or just their spell lists) could possibly be added as an afterthought/appendix, but for now their inclusion does not really advance anything about this document... and this will also advance the idea that this Supplement will be more suitable for Solomoriah's 'advanced options' than if these other non-published class options were included.

Re: Spells Needed
Sadly I haven't had much time to finish the drawings, for the moment they look like this:
I'll try to finish it for either the Libram or for another personal or BFRPG uses
Sorry for any misspelling or writing error, I am not a native English speaker

Re: Spells Needed
Thanks, I'm still at apprentice level (with current studies paused), but I have a great teacher and drawing is a part of my family's blood
I'll try to finish this and do others and possibly open a post for them, I know they aren't amazing and pale against others that can be found for free, but they are created for this game
