ooo I might check this out and playthrough this tomorrow and give some thoughts to what I think. This could help bring some inspiration to what I'm doing at the moment.

Nice! Aren't you working on a solo adventure for Basic Fantasy? How are things coming along?

Yeah I'm working on a solo adventure for BFRPG, since nothing wrong with putting some work into the project. Though I had to take a break from playing with being drained out from having to make stuff and learning libre-office first time.

I played through it tonight and had a great time!
There are 2 minor discrepancies I noticed while playing through that I will list here for your consideration:
#1 The Skeletair XP listed is only 37, but I believe it should be as a 4HD monster plus "special ability binus" so more like 280XP I think.
#2 You have written "Sv MU3" which I believe means it saves as Magic-User of level 3. But the Field Guide stats for a skeletaire states that they cast as a Magic-user of level HD+1 and save as a Magic user equal to their HD. So it should read "Sv MU4". Might be nice to just have a small note saying something like "casts as MU5" as well.
Both of the above notes can certainly be superceded by auther/GM decision of course so feel free to disregard entirely. I also played this "blind", by which I mean I started playing from front to back without reading ahead in hopes of sparing the surprise! However I missed out on the mini oracle rules and wandering monster table you had at the back of the pamphlet. I don't know if others would want to play this way but I'd love to see those first. But I understand that may ruin your otherwise admittedly perfectly laid out flow. So again feel free to discregard.
Thank you for sharing this here, I had a great time playing through it solo and could se myself absolutely using this with a group as well. I adore the pamphlet layout and would love to see more of this kind of thing. Your layout and art is so nicely presented and I really like the table highlighting you have where every-other line is shaded. I wish the core book had this table layout.
I recorded my play through and will have to cut it up etc. but hope to start posting tomorrow. I will post a link once uploaded.

Heya, glad you had a good time!
Yeah, I wanted the adventure bit to be inside the folded pamphlet but I can see where you might have missed the oracle.
Thanks for catching the mistakes! If I ever have time for updates I'll include them.
Cheerio!
