I retouched it quick in black. Closed grid on right and bottom.

Guys, I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of this map style; I don't like the thick lines and lack of fill in what should be solid areas. However, I will bow to the preferences of the author.

Be careful bowing to the preferences of the author, the author is making it up as he goes along.

If I compare this map style to that of other BF published adventures, I too prefer the style where the solid areas are filled in with black or those cool criss-cross lines you see in hand drawn maps. So for the dungeon maps, at this point I'll see if I can easily do that style of map myself in Mapmatix or some other tool. I've wanted to learn dungeon-drawing tool anyway, so now is as good a time as any. But if that doesn't work out... as you mentioned in an earlier post they can be done Mapmatix, but later in the process when the overall status is closer to Showcase-ready (assuming it gets there).

As for the other maps... there's an area map I did in Hexographer. Unless an illustrator steps forward I will redo that because it's in color and it should be done in a way that looks better in b&w. As for my messy hand-drawn village map, for now let's wait and see if an illustrator steps forward.

Bumblepig, I can help you spruce the maps up if you would want it.

Here is a modification of the map. I do not like the grey filled style, but that is an old aversion to printing out filled maps on my own printers. When using LULU no need to worry about that I guess. So here is a map that echoes filled grey without going all out.

I really like this version. It's funny you mention the printer thing, because I just printed something out and got a "Your toner is low" message. So I think this version does a good job of showing solid areas without draining ink.
For area C27, the four little things you have as little black squares are actually standing mirrors. I'd envisioned representing them with short line segments. The dotted arrows correspond to the first, third, and fourth mirrors respectively. When I drew them that's what I had in mind, anyway. They're not essential, so if there's not a better way to represent that I'd say just remove the mirrors as well as the corresponding arrows and text.
I'm also thinking the text about the dumbwaiter is too much. Would you mind removing that as well? Sorry... I put it in there without thinking what it would look like.
I just realized that in the uploaded document I only put maps for levels 1 and 3. I'll upload a new version that has the map for level 2.
Many thanks to you and Muze for moving it along... I wouldn't have gotten it to look this good.

I just now noticed that you made the blue map. I thought that was posted by Bumblepig. Do you have more made? I can modify them like I did your first map, if that is alright.
