KH1 The Blackapple Brugh
Re: New Adventure for Review: "The Blackapple Brugh"
Muze, Out of curiosity what software did you use to create that map?
Re: New Adventure for Review: "The Blackapple Brugh"
Ummmm .... I think it was Mipui.
Re: New Adventure for Review: "The Blackapple Brugh"
Ok, here is the latest version of Level 3 map.
I think I might take a crack at drawing the other maps up. I may have time this weekend.

Thanks! I think that does a better job of conveying the mirrors in C27.
I've uploaded a new draft (r4) that includes this version of the level 3 map, as well as a new Map 1 (Blackapple environs) that prints better in B&W.
Many thanks, and if you can help out with the other dungeon maps over the weekend or whenever I'd really appreciate it.

I'm liking that style more now. I will say, it may be necessary to darken the fill areas a bit for reproduction... grays are unreliable, sadly. But do not worry about that, I'll take care of it in the final layout.

This weekend I will put up a couple of samples with darker edging. Hopefully one of those might take care of some back end work.Solomoriah wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 7:04 pm I'm liking that style more now. No, seriously, don't worry about it. I always have to tinker to get things to come out right.

Re: New Adventure for Review: "The Blackapple Brugh"
I made the Level 1 and 2 from your drawings. Since it was not the same software for level 3, I redrew level 3. I am not able to remember how I did the faded border on my original level 3 in paint.net. So all the border look slightly different than the original. They all have the same styling now and I like this process so I can replicate it across maps.

Re: New Adventure for Review: "The Blackapple Brugh"
page 2 "goodly holy woman by the name of named Ludann"
"if the people would raise pigs instead of cut down trees"
I believe it should be cutting down trees.
"As a token of this promise, presented Ludann with a large black apple."
Maybe "the villagers presented"? Or whoever else.
"Mirror Man, Mirror Man,, come to me,"
Extra coma.

Re: New Adventure for Review: "The Blackapple Brugh"
page 4 "Aside from the doctor himself, he maintains a staff of two burly men in white coats."
Maybe the two burly men are the only occupants aside from the doctor but he doesn't maintain them aside from himself.
