Ok will slowly start on r15. Have updated prices for camels, mules, & donkeys to match Beginners Essentials. Will cut+paste combat rules into a sep. document for possible later inclusion in Combat Options.

Basic Fantasy Equipment Emporium, Release 15 -- June 08, 2019
This new release of the Equipment Emporium includes revisions by James Lemon and liberal use of the layout hammer by Chris Gonnerman. This is not a print release candidate; the text still needs further review, and some additional art would not hurt a bit.

What needs illustration, other than the cover?

The book is nearly in its final form; what needs illustration is any or all of the remaining large white spaces. Just download the PDF and take a look. Obviously, illustrations relevant to the contents of the page are welcome, but you are also welcome to use your artistic license.

I only found three things to correct.

Page 6 – Sap description

Currently: This weapon is indented to inflict subdual damage only.

Should be: This weapon is intended to inflict subdual damage only.


Page 8 – Bola description

Name of book and it needs to be bolded like the rest of the entries in this book.

Currently: The flying target will start to fall until it can free itself or crashes, See Falling Damage on page 52 of the Basic Fantasy Core Rules for more details.

Should be: The flying target will start to fall until it can free itself or crashes, See Falling Damage on page 52 of the Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules for more details.


Page 40 – Metals, per lb. Table

Mithral has an asterisk, but there is nothing telling what the asterisk means.

Needed more than that... grammar was crufty.

Removed, as I have no idea.

I'm working on R16 right now, but I'm going to hold off on a new release a few days to see if there are any more changes.

My page numbers are likely off; my LO was constantly moving stuff around as I was checking...

• Page 8, Spears and Polearms: first sentence, two extra spaces ("Covers a variety of hafted or pole-handed weapons,...")
• Page 9, Other Weapons, second-to-last paragraph, extra space ("...specifically made to be used as weapons ;...")
• Page 26, Jacket: extra space ("...can either be pulled over...")
• Page 27, Earring: extra space ("...one or both ears; the price includes...")
• Page 32, Animals: while I know the intro text clarifies "FG" as Field Guide 1, I think it should be "FG1"
• Page 40, Animals tables: space b/w number and "gp" for flying mounts(except Hippogriff as it moves down a line) and Deers
• Page 36, Goose table: No. Appearing in wild has "%"

OK, lo<kibg at the book, I see 4 obvious gap pages: 12 (mounts), 21 (packs), 45 (Seige engines) and 48 (animal quality/treasue notes). I'll get to work on these...

This release includes edits by Al Vetter, James Lemon, and Chris Gonnerman. It's looking a lot better, but we're waiting on some art so this is not a print release candidate.
