Penny Counter Template
I had a request on Facebook to share the template for the penny-counters I use at conventions. So here it is, in all its glory, in the form of a Gimp image file.

Re: Penny Counter Template
Solo, would it be possible to save it as a jpg or png file?
If not, well, no harm in asking.

Re: Penny Counter Template
I can, but I'm not sure it's much good that way. The magic is in the layered design, allowing you to change the text and re-align it without much fanfare in Gimp.
Here's the flattened Thorus graphic as an example.

Re: Penny Counter Template
... actually, given that you are an artist and you've been with the Basic Fantasy Project for years, I'm surprised you don't have Gimp already. Something against it?

Solo,
Thanks for the Penny image, and I didn't understand that your file needed the layers.
I've used GIMP in the past, just didn't get around to downloading it on my newer machine.
Also, I can do a ton of things with paint.net. It's not as powerful as GIMP, but can still do a ton of work with out much mental overhead. Thanks again for all your hard work (and I used paint.net today to put the "BFRPG compatible" logo on my next project, still in the works).

Re: Penny Counter Template
The text layer retains the font and sizes; since the Averia font family is free, all you have to do is install them before opening the template. After you fill in the name/initial(s) for each character, you do Layers, Align Visible Layers and collect all layers to center vertically and horizontally. If you have a long name (Morningstar, for example) you may also need to adjust the spacing between lines. Flattened, the template gives you none of that.
