How the adventures tie together is discussed in the introduction on the first page.

The 2 main things are to be familiar with the material before the game and to make sure the players are not overmatched. The Olde Island Fortress can be quite a challenge for a small group of beginners.

Room 42 of The Nameless Dungeon has 8 Giant Oil Beetles. I couldn’t find their entry in BFRPG, the Field Guide, the BECMI Creature Catalog’s index, or the old AD&D MM2 index.

If it’s original to the dungeon or in another source I don’t have, that’s cool.

Any suggestions on how their oil spray and blisters work? Is there a save - which kind? I’m assuming the spray causes the blisters. What effect do they have, how can they be cured, and or do they go away in time?

WOW. All this time, and someone comes along and finds a missing monster...

On page 18, the XP award given for the giant caecilia is 555 xp each, despite being being low HD versions of the monster without a special ability. It should be 145 xp each

edit: also, there is a mismatch in staircase directions in the olde island fortress maps. The non-secret stairs between 1st and 2nd floor. On the first floor, it looks like it goes up, down, down. From the perspective of the second floor, it goes up, up, up.
