Has anybody done any work on this or would have any suggestions?

The Assassin is, effectively, the Bounty Hunter as far as I'm concerned. Take a look and you'll see what I mean.

You could certainly apply a couple thematic tweaks to the Assassin to get a more of a "bring em in alive" sort of class. Overall, I am in general agreement that most Bounty Hunters are Assassins, considering historically "bounties" were usually paid for dead targets or the old-west style Dead or Alive.

That sounds about right, I will work it in to my Ravenstone PbF.

Thanks

I think I would add in tracking and some sort of urban enviroment skill.

You could modify the scout class.
Knights of the Written Word 2 is group that is focused on text based gaming on roll20.

You could build a bounty hunter out of parts of the Assassin and Scout, actually. Both are Thief subclasses, after all.

Here is a take on that class using the Scout as a base and adding/replacing some parts from the Assassin plus a little extra.
If it looks ok I'll put it on the Showcase
