I suggest you to make it "Celestial, Name" as it was decided to avoid the use of the word "angel" for monsters, maybe Archcelestial?

Thanks for the suggestions. Let me see what I can come up with.

Humbly submitted for your consideration. I put the image below and on my artwork page. Wasn't sure the proper place to put it.

Celestial Descendent
Armor Class: 15
Hit Dice: 4
No. of Attacks: 1 weapon or 1 unarmed
Damage: By weapon or 1d2
Movement: 40' Fly 60'
No. Appearing: 1-6
Save As: Cleric: 4
Morale: 9
Treasure Type: A
XP: 280

Legends say many centuries ago some Celestial messengers fell in love with humans. For this, they were made mortal and forced to dwell on Earth. They married, raised families, and ultimately died. Celestial descendents are their heritage. Celestial descendents are tall, attractive humans whose distinctive feature is a pair of wings on their back. These wings allow them to fly at up to 60' per round. There are both male and female celestial descendents and they live in family groups like humans and halflings. Celestial descendents are not magical creatures and can be slain. They live about two hundred years.

Celestial descendents live apart from other races, often in high mountain aeries. They take their divine bloodline seriously, and study as clerics. They often guard ancient holy sites against intrusion. They may help adventuring parties if they consider their intentions honorable. They can provide healing magic, and information on divine sites and lore. They will take up arms against threats to innocent life or to prevent the desecration of holy places.

Celestial descendents use their wings to hover and weave during combat, granting them an armor class of 15. They do not wear armor as the added weight affects their flight. Additionally, they cast spells as a fourth level cleric. A suggested spells list for any given day includes: Cure Light Wounds, Detect Evil, and Bless.

Al: Very cool! 8-) I've tweaked your entry a little bit.

John: I really like this entry too (and beautiful artwork as always!). I would likely re-name it "Descendant" though. I would also remove the text that basically refers to what's already in the stat-block. Like any entry it would likely get tweaked more later on, but right now it reads pretty well! I'll wait a little longer for others to chime in, and/or for more entries, before working on the next FG3 release.

Thanks Chiisu for the kind words. Hey, tweak away to make it work/meld with everything else. Thanks again, and I'll look forward to seeing other folks' entries as well.

Thanks again, good words go a LONG way in this world.

Has anyone done the Axebeak yet? I didn't see it in the monster index, but not sure if it got renamed. Don't think I ever fought them or used them in an adventure.

But my next session is coming up soon.
