Thanks so much for all your hard work, Chii. And take a few days break if you need it. I've been avoiding mapping for a while, and finally sat down yesterday and felt MUCH more enthused about it.

Welcome, TrickyNicky! Chi will let you know what help he might need. As to downloading the current version, being "in the Projects folder" means that I have to get around to doing a layout pass, generating the PDF, and uploading both PDF and source document... and thanks to the pandemic, my team has been super productive and filled up the Projects folder with stuff I need to attend to. Hopefully soon.

Any particular artwork that you need? I'll do what I can.

As always, any monster not illustrated is fair game.

I'll get to this soon.

Okay, I've started, but it probably won't be done today. I'm doing a review from top to bottom, and I just finished the Axolotl. All of the statblock tables need to be resized, which is no big deal, but I'm also reading and revising the text. So far it looks pretty good; however, there are some awkward bits that I'm rewriting, and some places where the text differs from standard usage (for example, any creature like the axolotl who has a gaze attack should use the phrasing "meets the gaze of" or the like).

Regarding the axolotl, it is described as being related to elemental salamanders (I clarified that in the text) and coming from the elemental plane of water, but it has neither powers nor weaknesses related to that origin. While it has powers enough as is, I wonder if it should have any stated weaknesses?

Hmm. Okay, so looking at it, Volume 3 is less than half the length of Volume 2. I don't think it's ready to be frozen or to appear on the Downloads page, so I think it should go here or in the Showcase. If Chi doesn't want to claim it anymore, that's cool, I'll just put it in mine.

Okay, did not realize how much is missing in this one.

With Chi stepping back, unless someone jumps in to champion this project, it will probably move to the back burner. Does not make it dead, by any means, and anyone who wants to submit new monsters or more art is welcome to do so.

May want to look at the use of the word Axolotl also. It was the genetic tanks used by the Tlelaxu in the Dune books, may want to see if we are stepping on any toes with using it here.
