Thanks for posting this Healer class, and if I may, a bit of advice.

Take all constructive criticism posted here seriously, always good to have a second opinion. I've gotten some great stuff by doing this same thing.

However......

Don't feel like you have to change everything or adjust your class to suit any one person's opinion. (Except Solomoriah, he owns the place.) Seriously, make sure the class is what you envision it as well.

Thanks, teaman, and to the rest of you as well. Was worried you guys would slay me being a newbie and throwing something out right away...but you were all good! I was very pleased with all the feedback. Love BF, but I hadn't really participated in the board before, nor done any "creating".

Honestly, I mainly want a character that isn't a "cleric" (not opposed to clerics at all, but I don't think he/she should be the only healer type PC) that can heal, and I really like the genericness (not really a word, sorry, lol) of a Healer class. I don't want him to be complicated...just a guy knowledgeable in the field of health, otherwise pretty normal/commoner. Anyone willing to take my template and adjust to make it more balanced? Not necessarily for Chris to post...mainly for me to use in my campaigns with more confidence that it's a balanced class.

Again, thanks ya'll for accepting a "new guy".

Did you make this one, Dimirag? It's marvelous! Thank you!

My only question would be regards to "Raise Dead" and (perhaps) "Animate Dead". Are those typically clerical "spiritual" spells? Could a Healer cast something like that?

I made it a couple of hours ago, animate dead is both a clerical and arcane spell. Raise dead is totally clerical, but I don't see it as a spell out of place for a healer or even for an arcane necromancer, of course a GM can judge that that spells can't be used outside the realm of the gods but I don't care for that much mechanical division ;)

Also, remember that Raise Dead has a time issue, it can bring back those that are long gone.

And finally, it was really hard not to give it the ultimate healing spell

*EDIT: R2 uploaded with a better format.

Nice class Dimirag, are you going to put it in the Showcase?
