I was just reading the Mentzer and Moldvay books, Moldvay gives demi humans a smaller benefit on Saving Throws

BFRPG has the same ST values that Mentzer (Basic) and Moldvay (Expert) (at least at Level 1)

Mentzer likely took his numbers from Cook/Marsh, so his B and E books would be consistent.
