As mentioned
here I decided to try making one. I don't have access to a printer right now so I can't guarantee it'll look awesome-sauce printed out...

That looks awesome! I will have to print it out and see how it looks.
Thank you for the help with this.
I will let you know as soon as I print it.

Thanks.
I printed it out in black-and-white and I'm pretty happy with how it looks; I am also a big fan of having lines so my horrible handwriting doesn't slant off.

chiisu, I love the way this looks. But, I like the way some other sheets display info... and I really want the best of both.
Do you have this set up where you have the notebook paper background where i could modify the text content?
EDIT
Scratch most of this. I started playing around with LibreOffice Calc to create a notebook paper sheet to use as my base. Sharing here for now. Next, I am going to try to apply the best of my favorite sheet onto this notebook paper so that I have an editable spreadsheet based character sheet that also has the old-school look of notebook paper.... my goal anyhow; depends on how hard I work on it, i suppose.

I love these notebook paper ideas (I was able to open the one in Gnumeric on my Lubunta machine. Geeking out as only a Linux user can).
Now my task is going to be how to figure out how to make index card style ones. I want to try to strip BFRPG down even a little farther for my introductory games. There was an article called 90 minute D&D that inspired me (
https://bankuei.wordpress.com/2012/09/02/90-minute-dd/). However BFRPG is even better for that because it is already fairly streamlined. Now, I'm not there just yet, but hope to work on it in the next few weeks. The notebook paper sheet and ods document will help a lot.

I don't have the original file for this anymore, but looking at google results (filtered for license to allow noncommercial use) this looks like the best choice (that I've found so far):
