True, and if/when the Field Guide is expanded in the future it can then be included.

It's right out of English folklore...

In any case, question answered. Thanks!
I know yours is based on the folklore (that is why I prefer it over the existing one), I was referring to the time it where posted.
Sorry for any misspelling or writing error, I am not a native English speaker

R23: This release corrects the spelling of contributor Stephen Trenkamp's name.

Was this something you noticed or did he email/PM you?
Looks like R22 PDF and ODT needs to be removed (not the bookmarked one though).

I always leave the current print release on the site, so R22 stays until I post R23 to both PoD sites. And yes, he emailed me. Actually Smoot, who forwarded it on to me.

Does the PDF look good to you? If so, I'll get it uploaded.

Did notice one small error in the Vampire spawn (at least I think it is).

Original:
Once it bites the vampire spawn will hold fast and drain the victim each round automatically.

Revised:
Once it bites, the vampire spawn will hold fast and drain the victim each round automatically.

Also, I'm wondering where critical attack is defined?

Where did you find "critical attack?"

... I had a lot of trouble with that darn Derej Mongoose before. I'll give it a good swift kick tonight after making the other revisions noted.

Careful. Moongeese are tricky little buggers. Don't let him bite you back. :D

Sorry, I should have been more clear. It is in the write up for Vampire Spawn on page 75. Second sentence of the second paragraph:

" If they make a critical attack on their foe they will bite (automatic hit) and drain the blood of their victim."

Feels like a very specific attack result that I could find any other reference to. I noticed this while reading through Tales of the Laughing Dragon and reading the Vampire Spawn's entry in the Field Guild.

I meant this as a natural 20 when making an attack.. Not sure why I thought this was in the Core Rules but the whole time we've just been house-ruling it.. normally a 20 just does max damage instead of having to roll for it is how we've played critical hits..
