Not from 10' away and it's the belt buckle for your enemies sword beltSmootRK wrote:I suppose, but it is such a minor effect... seems like a good ole whack against a table or wall will work to achieve the same effect (or whatever based upon the form of damage desired).Hywaywolf wrote:What is the general opinion on the orison Mend. Can it be reversed like many of the other orisons and be used to unmend something?
One could say the "unmend" might undo the effects of a previously cast 'mend'... but again, seems like one can achieve this with mundane ways.
Fixing a break is a good magical effect... but it is just too easy to 'break' something if one wants to do that.

or "unmending" the buttons off the tavern maid's dress?
Go with a smile!
Re: 0 Level Spells: A Basic Fantasy Supplement
I have not looked at the original in a while, but in the Libram Magica (the new spell supplement that i have been working on), i have this particular one as "touch" and not at range.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Re: 0 Level Spells: A Basic Fantasy Supplement
The only thing in the o level spells guide is this...
Cantrips typically have a range of 10 feet and a duration of instantaneous. As with standard spells, 0 level spells
may be reversible.
I would think if its good enough for a MU then it should be good enough for the devout

I suppose I modified it when I gave it a more thorough write up like a full spell entry... although the description is still quite concise:Hywaywolf wrote:The only thing in the o level spells guide is this...

Mend
C 0, D 0
Range: touch
Duration: permanent
The caster mends or repairs a single break, dent, hole, or similar very minor repairs to a single object. The repair is permanent but of course the object is not immune to subsequent damages.

I wasn't talking about libra magica. I was referring to the zero level spell guide on the downloads page. Btw, the libra magica could use a description of what a zero level spell is.

There is a bit of intro and explanation on the second page of the document. Do you think it needs more explanation or further clarification?Hywaywolf wrote:I wasn't talking about libra magica.
