Thanks, Monk! I drew it for Dustinians 'The Kings of Autumn Harvest' Adventure.

Babarock, let me tell you from experience, even if you don't intend any shading, you should stay in grayscale. A real black pen on real white paper will have grays at the edges of the lines; if you convert that to straight black and white in the computer, it makes the edges too rough for printing. Trust me on this... always keep "black and white" work in grayscale. You can still use brightness/contrast (or levels, if you know how that works) to eliminate shading and make the white space truly white.
If you send me art for reproduction that is strict black and white, I'll actually have to blur it a little bit to cut the harshness down.

That's good to know on the printing, Solo. Also, I recommend scanning at 300 dpi (Chi mentioned this to me a while back). It really does make a big difference.
Plus, that's a great town image. Love it! Reminds me a little of something you might see in Jeff Smith's BONE comics.
Which I miss.

BTW, Guyon, I used to use Gimp and a Wacom tablet for my digitals, but I have recently discovered Krita. Its a free download and is my new fav for painting, cartooning and sketch work over Gimp OR Photoshop.
I have been beta testing Krita with my surface pro 3 for a year now. It is really coming along. And the free price is amazing. I use Manga Studio for its amazing vector outline tools.
Still you work is very nice and I love the retro feel to it. this is a great project you are undertaking.

I love Krita too. Only wish I had more time to spend mastering it.

I have to build the database and test the card generation scripts, but it should go fast enough..
